ECG News is a collection of articles gathered from the press that are relevant either to the automotive industry at large or the vehicle logistics sector specifically, collected by staff ECG. In addition we include relevant press releases and articles of interest submitted by our members and sponsors. You will also find dates of forthcoming events and meetings.
Established in 1997, ECG is the Association of European Vehicle Logistics (www.ecgassociation.eu) and represents the interests of almost 100 member companies, from family owned SMEs to multi-nationals, and is the major champion of the European vehicle logistics sector.
ECG Members provide transport, distribution, storage, preparation and post-production services to manufacturers, importers, car rental companies and vehicle leasing operators in the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, Serbia, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Turkey and beyond.
Established as a non-profit making organization to promote the interests of the car carrier operators, ECG is now the established platform for the automotive logistics sector bringing together logistics service providers, manufacturer logistics managers and suppliers to the sector.
ECG aims to facilitate collaboration between member companies and assist them in sharing best practices in many operational areas, especially the harmonization of operational standards.
The ECG News application was created in cooperation with AVTOLOGISTIKA Group of companies (Avtologistika.com, Estafeta.org, Summarum.global).
